Hydroelectric

Guay is an expert in dam construction. For more than 50 years, Guay has been involved in building the largest dams in Canada. Its hydroelectric construction expertise contributes greatly to significant dam construction projects in Quebec’s far north, such as the Romaine Complex.

Through these many projects, we have developed lifting solutions adapted to this kind of work.

Wind Power

Guay Inc. is recognized for its very strong expertise in wind turbine assembly, maintenance and repair. We have been involved in more than 1500 wind turbine assemblies in both Canada and the United States, working with different manufacturers such as GE, Senvion, Enercon, Vestas and Siemens.

Guay has a variety of specialized equipment adapted for wind power work, such as conventional Demag CC2800-1 narrow-track crawler cranes and the Manitowoc 16000 (with wind attachemnt and BRS) and all-terrain cranes like the Liebherr LTM11200-9.1 and LTM1500-8.1, the Demag AC500-2 and the Grove GMK6400.
